"I have often thought that trips were something we did and needed to recharge our batteries for work. However, the week my wife and me spent aboard the Frangines changed that philosophy entirely. We now believe we work to support our trips. Three months after returning I can still close my eyes and gain the tranquility of waking up in a quiet cove, snorkeling before breakfast and then spending the day relaxing in the sun while sailing to the next little known treasure of an anchorage. Other than the location(U.S. and British Virgin Islands) and the weather (tropical) we would have to say the three things set the Frangines apart are: 1. The crew; the captain and his 1st mate/chef (also his wife) made you feel completely welcome and extremely pampered. Neither food or drink ( both first rate) were ever more than a few steps away. 2. the boat itself; Imagine taking a suite at that Ritz Carlton and putting sails on it. 3. The intimacy; For those that have chartered take whatever great experience you have had and consider a multiple of three. For those who haven't "Yes Virginia there is a Santa Claus".
